Across the 100 players on our NFL pages, the 2025 season carried 1,591 games with a posted player prop. Matthew Stafford leads with 20 lined games in 2025 across 8 different markets, and 55 lined games in our archive since 2023-09-10. Counting a lined game needs an odds archive, not a stats feed.
Counted over our own odds archive. A lined game needs a posted number and a player who actually played, which a stats feed cannot tell you.
Lined games and market breadth
Being propped is not the same as being good, and this table does not claim it is. It measures how much of a market a player carries: how many games a sportsbook put a number on him, and across how many different markets. That is a fact about the betting market rather than about football, and it exists only inside an odds archive.
Across the 100 players on our NFL pages, the 2025 season produced 1,591 lined games. The markets counted are the fourteen player markets our archive holds, from passing yards to anytime touchdown.

All 100 players on our NFL player pages, ranked by lined games in the 2025 season. A lined game is one where a sportsbook posted a number on him and he played. Our archive, rebuilt daily.
How this was measured
- What a lined game is. A game in which at least one sportsbook posted a number on this player AND he actually played. A prop on a player later ruled out has no result, so it is not a lined game. Both the season count and the archive count use that same definition.
- The junk-outcome rule, applied before anything is ranked. The outcome column of the touchdown market is not a player column: it also carries the no-scorer legs and all 32 team defenses in two naming styles. Left in, they would open this table. They are excluded in the database before a single row is counted.
- How a quote becomes a player. Names are folded to one form on both sides (suffixes, periods and accents removed) and then attributed by the event: a quote belongs to the player whose team is one of the two clubs playing that day. 242 folded names in our game logs cover more than one player, so anything still ambiguous after that is dropped rather than guessed.
- Event dating. Every event is dated in Eastern time. A Sunday-night kickoff falls on the next calendar day in UTC, so dating in UTC would quietly drop every prime-time game from these counts.
- The defensive window is shorter, and the table says so on every row. Sacks and solo tackles first appear in our archive on 2024-09-05, where the offensive markets start on 2023-09-07. A defender therefore cannot accumulate archive-wide lined games at the rate a quarterback can, and the ranking metric is a single completed season for exactly that reason. Each row carries its own first and last lined date so the comparison is never made silently.
- Ties. Broken by archive lined games, then market count, then name.
- Who is eligible. The 100 players who have a page on this site, each of whom cleared a 30-lined-game minimum before the page was built. This is a list of the most-propped players we cover, not of every player a book has ever priced.

Frequently asked questions
What counts as a lined game?
A game in which at least one sportsbook posted a number on that player and he played. A prop on a player who was later ruled out has no result, so it is not counted here.
Why do defenders show a shorter window?
Because sacks and solo tackles arrived in our odds archive a full season after the offensive markets did. Every row carries its own first and last lined date, and the ranking metric is a single completed season so the comparison is like for like.
Does being heavily propped mean a player is good?
No. It measures how much of the market a player carries, which tracks volume, position and how many different markets a book is willing to price him in. It is a fact about the betting market, not a rating.
Why only 100 players?
These are the players who have a page on this site, so every name here links to the full record behind it. Each of them cleared a 30-lined-game minimum before his page was built.
