The posted total is the median of the books quoting that match, taken at each book's last recorded price before kickoff. Our archive is a daily snapshot grid rather than a tick feed, so it is not a closing line and is not published as one. "On the number" counts matches that finished level with a whole-number total, three goals with the total posted at 3 for instance, and those matches stay in the denominator of the rate. The home and away rows carry the total they were measured against, because that number is not always the same at both ends and a rate read without it says less than it appears to. Our odds archive covers 5 of the 6 seasons in the window for this club. The rest were played in competitions the archive holds under a fifth of, too thin to be a rate, so they are absent here rather than estimated.
