Over and under the posted total

The posted total is the median of the books quoting that match, taken at each book's last recorded price before kickoff. Our archive is a daily snapshot grid rather than a tick feed, so it is not a closing line and is not published as one. "On the number" counts matches that finished level with a whole-number total, three goals with the total posted at 3 for instance, and those matches stay in the denominator of the rate. The home and away rows carry the total they were measured against, because that number is not always the same at both ends and a rate read without it says less than it appears to.

Record against the handicap

A handicap adds goals to one side before the result is read. "Cleared" counts matches where the goal margin beat the number posted for Arsenal, and "on the number" counts matches that landed exactly on it. These are comparisons of a final score against a posted number, not settled wagers.

Odds history: how the market priced Arsenal

Each match is placed by the median price across the books quoting it, converted to implied probability first, at each book's last recorded price before kickoff. Arsenal is the shorter price when its implied probability is more than 5 points above the opponent's. Implied probabilities include the bookmaker margin, so they sum to more than 100 across the three results. This is a record of past matches and their prices, not a forecast of the next one.
